Bill Werra leads DustTech Holdings with a strategic vision centered on innovation, growth, and legacy-building. With more than 25 years of manufacturing industry leadership, Bill is a transformational business leader who drives continuous improvement and creativity in problem-solving. His extensive experience includes driving organic growth, mergers and acquisitions, creating high-performing teams, and accelerating distribution network success.
 
Known for his visionary and collaborative approach, Bill fosters cultures that unlock creativity and potential. Leveraging his expertise and the extensive resources of the B12 Capital Partners family, he ensures informed, thoughtful decisions that honor partner legacies and promote employee growth. His leadership style supports ongoing growth and success across DustTech and its portfolio companies.
 
An expert in relationship building, Bill is an active member and former president of the Process Equipment Manufacturers Association (PEMA) board, serves on the board of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Wisconsin, and is a member of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM).
 
Bill holds a degree in Economics, and his leadership philosophy emphasizes active participation, continuous learning, integrity, and accountability to achieve sustainable results and long-term organizational success.

Michael “Mike” Wedel

Chairman, DustTech Holdings
Managing Partner & Co-founder, B12 Capital Partners, LLC

Mike Wedel serves as Chairman of DustTech Holdings, a holding company specializing in advanced dust control systems and industrial filtration solutions. As a co-founder and manager at B12 Capital Partners, he directs Mid-America-focused microcap buyout portfolios totaling $25 million of invested funds and has raised an additional $50 million from institutional co-investors. Mike has played a key role in shaping B12’s Private Capital Holding Company Structures and successfully implementing long-term buy-and-build strategies.


Prior to B12 Capital Partners, Mike spent 17 years in the senior sales and marketing role at Premier Pneumatics, Inc. of Salina, Kansas, a leading manufacturer of pneumatic conveying and bulk material handling equipment serving industries across North America. Premier Pneumatics was successfully sold to K-Tron International, Inc., later merging with Coperion of Stuttgart, Germany.
Mike also previously served three years as head of sales and marketing at Eldorado International, Inc., serving the recreational vehicle market.


A dedicated builder, mentor, and steward of business and legacy, Mike approaches leadership with a pragmatic, hands-on style. He is deeply committed to the growth and development of his teams, fostering a family-like culture rooted in mutual respect, integrity, and character.


Mike actively serves as a board member for nine of B12 Capital Partners’ current manufacturing and distribution portfolio companies, chairing three of these entities. His extensive operational experience and genuine care for people significantly contribute to strategic growth and lasting success.
Mike earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas, in 1983.
